    Hello Nan,

Unfortunately this is a very common problem. Coupons vary according to state, city and even what newspaper you buy!

Usually, those who live in a small or remote town get only some of the coupons. Some may not get all of the inserts, while others do not get any insert at all.

SmartSource & RetailMeNot do not provide information regarding their distribution. However, P&G does!

This site (https://www.pgeveryday.com/page/brandsaver-coupons) lets you know which newspaper carries the Sunday Coupon insert based on your Zip code.

The good news is that according to our readers there is a good correlation between P&G and the other 2 inserts (SS & RMN/RP). i.e. most Sunday papers that carries the P&G insert will also carry SmartSource & RetailMeNot (RedPlum).

According to your Zip code, try the LONG ISLAND NEWSDAY, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS or the NEW YORK POST.

    Best Regards

    Hello Marylyn,

We get this kind of question about 4 times a day.

Unfortunately – Coupons Vary according to state, city and even what newspaper you buy!. This is why we clearly state in EVERY coupon review: “Regional coupon inserts & value differences are to be expected“…

Usually, those who live in a small or remote town get only some of the coupons. Some may not get all of the inserts, while others do not get any insert at all.

Yes, It’s true. Valessis who is the producer of RedPlum has acquired RetailMeNot about a year ago in an attempt to form a new consumer experience.

RedPlum has been re-branded to RetaimMeNot Everyday. Valessis intends to offer better coupon inventory with higher-value coupons from top brands, as well as restaurant coupons etc.

Unfortunately, regional coupon differences will be enhanced.

You can read more about it here: http://www.valassis.com/about-us/newsroom/item/180315/valassis-and-retailmenot-partner-to-form-a-new-consumer-brand-experience
